NFL Power Rankings: Colts, Saints Remain Undefeated And On Top
The Indianapolis Colts and the New Orleans Saints are now three quarters of the way through this NFL season and neither team has a loss on their record. The two teams remained undefeated, despite doing so in very different ways.
The Colts beat what many considered the hottest team in football in the Tennessee Titans. They were mildy challenged, but held on and remained the number one team in our rankings this week.
New Orleans, on the other hand, had another game where they needed to come back after a sloppy performance. It has become a customary theme for the Saints, but they have escaped each time with a in. This time, it took a gift missed field goal from the Washington Redskins to keep the Saints perfect.
San Diego cruised to another victory, and they are now the third team in our rankings. The Chargers have been playing possibly the best football of all NFL teams since a loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers earlier in the year.
Cincinnati won again, and moved to number four this week. They are joined in the top five by Arizona, who easily handled the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday night. The Vikings fall to number six.
Denver moves back into the top ten with another victory, their eighth of the season. Green Bay had an impressive win over Baltimore Monday night, moving them into the number nine position. Philadelphia is also back in the top ten after a dominating performance against an undermanned Falcons team.
