NFL Power Rankings: Titans And Steelers Put AFC On Top This Week
The Tennessee Titans enjoyed a week off this past Sunday. In doing so, they became the only undefeated team left in the NFL. The New York Giants lost on Monday night to Cleveland, and the loss dropped the Giants out of the top spot in our Power Rankings.
Tennessee takes over the top spot for the first time this year. They will put that number one ranking and their perfect record on display this Sunday. Another team that did not play this past weekend, the Pittsburgh Steelers, moved up to number two in the rankings.
The Giants, while losing to the Browns, a team on the rise once again, still remained in the top five of the rankings. They come in at number three. Buffalo, who had a bye as well last week, moves up to number four. Tampa Bay rounds out the top five after a big win over division rival Carolina.
The San Diego Chargers, a team with just a 3-3 record takes over the number six spot. The Chargers looked back to being dominating against the Patriots Sunday night. Arizona cracks the top ten after beating the Dallas Cowboys. The Cardinals are number seven.
Washington, Carolina, and the Cowboys finish out the top ten for this week. With parity growing in the league, the top ten will have to continue to impress to keep their rankings into next week.
