NFL Sees Three Teams Remain Undefeated After Testing Week
Indianapolis and Baltimore had their resolve tested on Sunday, and both teams came thru with last minute touchdowns to protect their undefeated records.
The Colts got a last minute touchdown run on a quarterback sneak by Peyton Manning to beat the Jets 31-28 in a see saw game at the Meadowlands.
Baltimore won after getting a late safety and a touchdown pass from Steve McNair to Todd Heap in a game that was dominated by defense, defeating previously unbeaten San Diego 16-13.
Chicago might have been the biggest surprise of the day as they face off with Seattle in a battle of undefeated teams. The Bears dominated the game and showed that they might be the best team in the NFC by hammering the Seahawks 37-6 in Chicago.
The other teams to lose for the first time this season included Cincinnati, who was looking to make a statement at home against the New England Patriots, apparently they sent the wrong message as the Patriots won 38-13.
New Orleans also lost for the first time this year after having a late lead against Carolina and losing 21-18.
