NFL Super Bowl Betting: Steelers Will Get It Done Once Again

The Pittsburgh Steelers have been one of the best teams in the NFL through the years when it comes to taking care of business in the Super Bowl. They are 5-1 in six previous trips.

That record may have something to do with the fact that Steelers fans travel in ridiculously large numbers to these events. The players have commented that even when they are on the road it feels as if they are playing at home.

It cannot be attributed to preparation, considering three different coaches have now taken Pittsburgh to the Super Bowl, although the overall philosophy has not changed since the mid-seventies.

That brings us to this year's game. Arizona has been a great story and they have done more than anyone has asked of them. They have a high flying offense and have hit their stride at the right time. The main reason they have made this Super Bowl run, however, is their running game that has set up their passing attack.

That is where the Steelers will win this game and become the only team in NFL history to win six Super Bowl championships. Pittsburgh has not allowed a 100 yard rusher this season, and because of that, they are the number one pass defense in the league.

Yes, because of their run defense, they are the best passing defense in the league. One sets up the other, and for the Steelers defense, they bring the perfect mixture of finesse and sheer force.

The offense is not flashy, but it will be good enough to expose what looked like a tired Arizona defense in the NFC championship game. Super Bowl Sunday has arrived, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.
