NFL Team Season Win Totals At Risk For Many Gamblers After Week Nine
As if gamblers did not have enough things to blow their hard earned money on, sportsbooks have come up with a way to keep bettors sweating all the way through the NFL season, over-under win totals for individual teams for the season.
The Chicago Bears are one of those teams that has already lost the money of any gambler who thought they could surpass their season win total of 11. With 7 games left in the season, the Bears would have to win all of them, just to get gamblers of the over off with a push.
The Miami Dolphins are another team who will crush bettors hearts if they played the teams over, which was 7, and since the Dolphins have zero wins right now, even the glass is half full people would be hard pressed to think they can win their final seven games.
Other teams could be bringing joy to bettors, one such team is the Green Bay Packers, who have already clinched money for players of their over season total, as it was 7.5. The Pack has eight wins already.
Staying in the same division, the Detroit Lions have also already secured a winning ticket for anyone playing the over on their season total, which was 5.5. They have six wins.
These over-unders are never an exact science, but for gamblers who have already lost their plays after week nine, it is unfortunate, but for those who took chances on teams like the Packers and Lions, props goes out for beating the sportsbooks.
