NFL Teams Looking For Answers After 0-2 Starts To Season
The NFL season has brought many surprises in the first two weeks of the year, however, there are 11 teams who broke training camp with high expectations, and all of them are 0-2, including a few with super bowl expectations.
Of all the teams who started the season 0-2, many of the slow starts were anticipated.
Houston, Cleveland, Tennessee, and Green Bay, were not projected to have very good seasons, so their 0-2 starts do not come as a big surprise.
Two teams were kind of a mystery coming into this year, Detroit and Oakland, both had new coaches, but after two weeks it seems clear that neither team will exceed expectations after starting 0-2 and looking miserable.
The next group of 0-2 teams, however, are a bit of a surprise.
Kansas City lost Trent Green in week one and looks to have a long season with a staggering offense, which was expected to carry the team.
Washington and Miami, both of whom were picked by many experts to win their divisions, have had miserable starts, but both seem to get a reprieve in week 3, with Washington facing Houston, and Miami at home vs. Tennessee.
The game that could make or break seasons happens in Tampa this week where the Buccaneers, a surprise 0-2, take on the Carolina Panthers, who were picked by many to win the NFC, and are also 0-2.
The winner of this game maybe can rebound and make the playoffs, but the loser could be eliminated early in a season in which both teams were favorites to at least make the playoffs.
