NFL This Week Sees Upsets Change The Playoff Picture

Indianapolis came into today's game and did what they had to do to put away a stingy Tennessee Titans team, but that was only for one half, and the Colts found out that when you only play one half of football against Vince Young, you probably are going to leave a loser, as the Colts did when Young once again rallied his team to victory.

The Titans are getting better week after week and it is no surprise that as Young improves, so do the Titans. Today, they beat the leagues best team with a last second field goal after trailing at one point 14-3.

Cleveland was another team on Sunday that pulled off a stunning win. The game against the Chiefs was tied 14-14 at half and it seemed the Chiefs were pulling away in the third quarter when they took a 28-14 lead. But the Browns showed heart and battled all the way back to tie the game in the fourth and win the game in overtime. The loss hurts the Chiefs chances in the AFC wild card chase.

The other major upset on Sunday was Arizona, who not only upset, but embarrassed the St. Louis Rams. The Rams were already holding on to slim playoff hopes but now after this devastating loss it will be very difficult for them to rebound and maker the playoffs.

Several teams did escape the upset bug as the Patriots survived in a win over the Lions, and San Diego held off a late Buffalo rally to win on the road.
