NFL Thursday Night Football Gambling Focused On Bears And Saints
The Chicago Bears started the season strongly, but have been exposed in the latter part of the season. The New Orleans Saints have taken the opposite approach, losing early and coming on strong as of late.
Whatever path the two teams have taken, they have arrived at the same place after thirteen games. They both are 7-6 and are fighting for their playoff lives in the NFC.
That is what makes tonights game all the more threatening for bettors who are gambling on the game. Neither team has a lack of motivation, and neither team is particularly consistent.
Gamblers will have to decide whether Drew Brees, who has been awful in cold weather, can sustain the frigid cold of Chicago. Others will have to decide if the up and down Bears defense can stop a potent attack like the Saints have.
New Orleans has been scoring in bunches over the past month, but the weather could be a factor. If the wind stays strong and hurts the passing game, it is unknown whether Reggie Bush and the boys can carry the team on the ground.
For the Bears, bad weather would be a benefit. Matt Forte has had a breakout season at running back and Chicago has followed his lead in their seven wins.
