Odds from Top Sportsbooks Posted for Next NHL Season
The Edmonton Oilers just skated all the way to the NHL's championship series, but oddsmakers don't think much of their chances of repeating their sensational playoff run. The Canadian team least likely to win the Stanley Cup next spring is Toronto, which is listed at 40-1.
The trophy was just presented to the Carolina Hurricanes last week, but online sportsbook and best online casino sites already are posting odds for next season. The Ottawa Senators are seen as a top contender again. They're listed at 6-1.
The Detroit Red Wings also are 6-1 according to Sportsbook. com, which has Carolina at 10-1. Washington, Chicago, St. Louis and Pittsburgh are the biggest underdogs at 100-1, the same odds that were riding on the Hurricanes last year.
