Packers, Titans, Lions, 49ers Looking To Continue Hot Starts

The Detroit Lions have been a door mat in the NFC for the better part of their existence, but after rolling off two straight victories to open the season, Detroit is searching for a 3-0 start when they travel to play Philly today.

Houston is in a similar situation. The Texans have shocked all of football by winning their first two games. Now, they find themselves in position to battle the defending Super Bowl champion Colts for the division lead.

The Packers look to be rejuvenated by Brett Favre and are also off to a 2-0 start. this week, they face their stiffest challenge yet when they travel to face the San Diego Chargers.

San Francisco has perhaps the toughest game of the fur surprise teams. The Niners travel to face the Pittsburgh Steelers, a team who itself has started off the new season on a roll.

The season is still early, but several teams have distinguished themselves as contenders through two weeks. Now those teams get to showcase their skills in a matter that just might prove that these teams are for real and not pretenders.
