Patriots Enter Tonight's Game Still Without Randy Moss
Randy Moss was supposed to make a big splash when he arrived in New England to play for the Patriots. He vowed not to be a problem by running his mouth, but so far he has not been running anything, including pass patterns.
The Patriots knew coming into this year that they had to improve on offense. They had to become more consistent and much more explosive to keep up with the Indianapolis Colts. They went out and signed Moss to be their big play receiver, but so far, all he has done is give moral support to the rest of the team from the sidelines.
An injured Moss was not what Patriots ownership had in mind when they pulled Moss away from the Raiders, but entering their third preseason game tonight their new acquisition still has not seen the field on game day.
Carolina is trying to rebound from a rough season last year, and if history says anything, its that the Panthers tend to make a run at the Super Bowl every other year, so this could be a team to watch this season.
The Panthers are favored by 1 in the game and the total is 37.5.
Two other games are set for tonight as the Bills host the Titans, and the Rams go on the road to play the Raiders.
