Plenty to Lose in Season Opener For Florida State-Miami
For most college football teams the opening game is usually a tune up for what's to come, not so for two teams from the sunshine state, Florida State and Miami.
While most powerhouse are playing this weekend against teams that are much below their own talent levels, Miami and Florida State will face off in a game where the stakes are so high, the loser could immediately be eliminated from the race for the national title.
The game seems to be of bigger importance to FSU because on paper, Miami is the toughest team they will face on the road.
Miami on the other hand, still has Louisville on their road schedule.
Whatever the outcome, there is a certainty, one team will be heading toward a title run while the other will be left searching for answers after week one.
