The Boston Red Sox are no longer used to the underdog role. Even though they were favored over the Rays in the American League Championship Series, it felt like people expected the division champion Rays to be the better team.

That was before game one. After game one, the Red Sox stole home field advantage from Tampa Bay and appeared ready to thrive off of the inexperience of the Rays. That was not the case, either, however.

The Rays have taken the last two games of the series and now have regained the series lead at 2-1. They also now have home field advantage back on their side. Boston now turns to knuckleballer Tim Wakefield to stop the bleeding in tonight's game four.

Boston manager Terry Francona will most likely have a quick hook with Wakefield should he fail to deliver a top performance. The one thing that the Red Sox cannot afford to happen is to go back to Tampa needing to win both game to reach the World Series.

The Rays have taken the series lead with a combination of power, both from their bats and from their young arms. The rays will are going with Andy Sonnanstine to try and take a 3-1 series lead.

Over in the National League, the Dodgers and the Phillies have a day off before resuming their series tomorrow. The day off was a needed one for Los Angeles, a team that could be playing their last game on Wednesday night. The Dodgers blew a late lead Monday and are now down 3-1 to Philadelphia in the series.
