Seminoles Looking For Revenge Against Demon Deacons Tonight
Florida State had been the model by which college football programs were judged in the early to mid 90's, but after a few down years some are wondering if Bobby Bowden has what it takes to get his team back to the top.
Last year, the Seminoles were embarrassed by the Deamon Deacons, a team who has made huge strides within their own program over the past few years. So much progress, in fact, that they won the ACC last year.
Now the teams are set to meet in prime time on ESPN as the feature game on Thursday Night College football, and the Seminoles are looking to take back a conference that they have owned for so long.
This years Seminole team started poorly by getting crushed by Clemson, but they have not lost since and the defense is once again playing like champions. The difference lately is quarterback Xavier Lee, who has taken the reigns on offense and not looked back.
Both teams are in the midst of the conference race and a win tonight will catapult one team closer to the championship game.
