Sportingbet Sells Company for a Dollar

Sportsbook.com is the best place to wager this season!

The speculation on the Uk gambling casino Sportingbet selling their business before US President George Bush signs the anti-internet gambling bill into law is no longer speculation.

Sportingbet was reported to have sold their company late Thursday afternoon to Jazette Enterprises Ltd. for a whopping $1. The sale relieves Sportingbet of $13.2 million in liabilities.

Although terms of the deal have still not yet been fully revealed, Sportsbook.com, a subsidary of Sportingbet has released a statement saying it would now be operating as an independent company and would not stop taking bets from US bettors upon Bush signing the anti-internet gambling legislation into law.

The separation of Sporsbook.com from Sportingbet Plc. was specifically intended so that they could still take bets from US customers, while Sportingbet, Plc. decided not to take the chance.
