Sports Book At Palazzo Grows With Return of 40/40 Club in Vegas
Sports gambling is big in Las Vegas. So big, in fact, that it has forced the closure of the 40/40 Club at the Palazzo. Jay-Z has sold the club back to the casino.
So what will the casino use the space for? Sports gambling, of course. They intend to create a larger sports book at the 40/40 Club, one which will enhance any sports fans experience at the casino.
"The exceptional design and location of the 40/40 Club will enable our guests to access a very special race and sports book and restaurant environment in The Palazzo," said President and Chief Operating Officer at The Palazzo, Rob Goldstein.
The renovations have now begun, but it is not known exactly how long they will take. The 40/40 Club has only been open for less than a year before they closed their doors.
"By adding a complete gaming component to an already distinctive 24,000 square foot space we will be able to create a very unique environment for our guests," said Goldstein.
Sports gambling in Las Vegas is one of the main draws to the city. With the gambling being legal, people fly in from all around the world to place bets on various sporting events.
