Sports Books Predicting A Loss By Texas Tech To Oklahoma

The Oklahoma Sooners are used to being in this position. They are comfortable playing in games that could mean a spot in the conference championship and possibly a shot at a national title.

Texas Tech, on the other hand, is new to this experience. Although they come into tonight's game as the higher ranked team, many believe they will experience their first loss against the Sooners.

Some of those people include the powers that be at Las Vegas sports books. The group that has a pulse on the gambling public has installed Oklahoma as a seven point favorite in the game. That is a full touchdown prediction against a team who has shown they can win the big game this year.

The Red Raiders have already defeated Texas and Oklahoma State. If they should beat Oklahoma tonight, they would be on their way to the Big Twelve title game, and possibly a date with Florida or Alabama in the national championship.

Another game that could shape the BCS is out west where BYU and Utah will square off. Both teams still have hopes of crashing the BCS party, and whichever one survives tonights test will position themselves to do so.

Utah is at home and is a 6.5 point favorite. The sports books are expecting a lot of points i both big games. The total for the BYU-Utah game is fifty four, and the Oklahoma-Texas Tech game has a total of a whopping seventy seven.
