Sportsbook Prop Bets Pit Steelers Past Against Steelers Present

Ben Roethlisberger was unimpressive against Seattle, so he should be better against Arizona. Anyone who believes that, sportsbooks have a bet for you as well.

The point is the Steelers last won the Super Bowl only a few short years ago, and that has allowed sportsbooks to be creative in coming up with this year's proposition bets. The list this year is longer than usual thanks to some interesting Steelers props.

Parker had ninety three yards rushing in Pittsburgh's victory over Seattle. To bet against that, a gambler has the option of either adding 13.5 points, or subtracting 13.5 points from that total.

The same type pro is available for Ward, who had 123 yards in the 2005 Super Bowl. Bettors again can wager on which game Ward will have the better receiving numbers.

With Roethlisberger things get a little more complicated, he only threw for 123 passing yards against Seattle. Gamblers will have to decide whether or not Roethlisberger has grown up enough as a quarterback to surpass the 200 yard mark.

The Super Bowl every year has sportsbooks scrambling to find any, and everything, that a gambler will place a bet on. This year, it just came easier with Pittsburgh returning many members from their last Super Bowl championship team.
