Sportsbooks Focused On College Football Bowl Odds Today

It was back in the early nineties when it seemed like every year the winner of the Florida State, Miami, game would be playing for a national championship. that was a long time ago for these two storied programs.

When the Hurricanes and Seminoles take the field today in their respective bowl games, they both will be out to prove one thing. They will be trying to show they are back among the nations elite programs.

Florida State had a better regular season than the Hurricanes and they beat Miami head to head. The future, however, looks much brighter for the Hurricanes. They have a team that is loaded with some of the best freshman talent in the nation.

Miami had a top five recruiting class last year, and this year figures to be more of the same for Randy Shannon, their head coach. Today will go a long way in convincing those recruits that Miami is back.

They face a California team that once again was supposed to compete for a national title. As in past years, however, they stumbled in some crucial games, which lead them to this match up with Miami.

Florida State has a slightly different story than the Hurricanes. The Seminoles went into the last week of the regular season with a chance to win their division in the ACC. Boston College stole their dreams by beating Maryland, and the Seminoles end up playing Big Ten team Wisconsin today.
