Steelers And Broncos Set For Football Night in America
The Pittsburgh Steelers had a bit of a Super Bowl hangover last year, but now they appear to have returned to championship form, and are ready to make a run at New England and Indianapolis.
The Broncos were supposed to be a team that was built to compete for a title this year, but they have started the season dreadfully and now are just looking to win a game to get back on track.
This could be a tough game for the Steelers who have their next three games against division rivals, so they may be looking beyond the Bronco game. One thing that could prevent that, however, is the Steelers history of playing well in nationally televised night games.
The last time Denver played on their home field, they took their worst defeat ever at home, losing by over 40 points to the Chargers, so they will surely be trying to put that memory behind him with a strong showing tonight.
With Baltimore losing earlier in the day, Pittsburgh can expand their division lead to two games over the Ravens and two and a half over the idle Cleveland Browns.
The Broncos, while starting slowly, still have thoughts of winning their division as nobody else in the division has capitalized on their slow start.
Game time is set for 8:15 tonight on NBC.
