Super Bowl Gambling Odds Already Available at Some Sports Books
The New York Giants have been crowned champions of the NFL season. They upset the Patriots and made a historic run to their title. They, however, are not favored to repeat as champions.
Several sports books have already posted betting lines for gamblers to pick which team will win next year's Super Bowl. New England is once again the favorite to get back, and win, the title next year. They are three to one favorites.
Surprisingly, the San Diego Chargers are the early second choice of odds makers. They are +650 to break their playoff luck and finally win the big game.
Peyton Manning had to sit and watch from the stands as his brother won last year's Super Bowl. Now his team, the Colts, will be one of next year's favorites. They are +700 and the third choice to win a title.
Those three teams are the only ones who currently hold odds of worse than ten to one. The Jaguars and Cowboys are the final of the top five choices, at +1800, and +1300, respectively.
Two of the top five long shots come from the AFC West. The Raiders and Chiefs are both at +10000 to win a championship. The other bottom three are the Dolphins at +9000, and the Jets and Falcons at +8000.
These odds are surely to change once the NFL draft occurs, and fee agents begin signing with teams.
