Tennis World Gambling On All Williams Final At Wimbledon

It has happened before for the Williams sisters. This late in a tennis tournament, the chances of meeting each other creeps into both Venus and Serena's minds. The opportunity is once again in front of them to meet each other in the finals at Wimbledon.

The tennis world is gambling on the occurrence. For a sport that has taken a PR hit over the past few years for its lack of stars, the Williams sisters could provide the drama necessary to put the sport back on the front pages of newspapers.

Venus and Serena both won their matches on Monday, meaning that only two matches each separate the two from facing off for another major tennis title. The two have played for championships against each other in the past and given fans some riveting tennis.

Venus will still have to get through one more players seeded higher than her on the way to the finals. Serena, on the other hand, is the highest seed left in her half of the draw. She is ranked #6, while Venus is #7.

The ladies will be no stranger to each other should they meet in the finals. They grew up playing against each other and have had many professional matches together as well.

The tennis world will be watching in anticipation the next two matches for the Williams sisters. A couple of more wins could be just what the doctor ordered for a struggling sport.
