Tiger Woods Not Helping Gamblers In First Two Masters Rounds

Tiger Woods is the best golf player of the past ten years. He will no doubt take his place next to Jack Nicklaus as possibly the two best that have ever played the game.

That does not mean that he is immune to struggling on the course. While that is some peoples perception, the first two days of the Masters is proof that Woods is human.

On Thursday, Woods shot a 72. Hardly on the level that he is used to, but still kept him close enough to challenge for another green jacket.

Most expected Woods to come out blazing on Friday, but that did not happen. Now Woods is faced with the prospects of playing the weekend without the spotlight on him.

Woods was a heavy favorite in sports books to win this year's Masters. There even were odds available on him winning all four of golf's majors this year.

After the first two rounds, Woods has not performed to the level that golf fans are used to. If anyone can have monster rounds on Saturday and Sunday, it is Woods. But it will take miraculous performances to put him back in the hunt for the title.
