Tim Tebow Gambles On New Throwing Motion To Improve Draft Status
Tim Tebow may have gone down as the best college football player of all-time had the Florida gators won the national championship last year. Even without his third title, Tebow will still be considered by many to be the best to ever play the game.
That was college football, and this is the NFL. The word from scouts around the league was that Tebow had a lot of flaws in his game and throwing motion. Some analysts even believed that Tebow would fall to the third round in the upcoming draft.
The former Florida star, being the competitor he has shown himself to be, hired some of the top NFL quarterback guru's to help him transform his motion. Today, after weeks of work, it looks as though the training has helped.
Scouts watching Tebow on Florida's pro day were impressed with how quickly and how in depth the changes have occurred. Now, Tebow again is getting second looks from teams in need of a franchise quarterback.
While at Florida, Tebow won a Heisman Trophy and was invited to New York's finalist ceremony two other times. He won two national titles and fell just short of playing in a third this past year.
The draft is quickly approaching, and with each day, it seems as though Tebow's stock is rising. With the heart of a champion and the personality of leader, the question may soon be asked not of how far Tebow will fall in the draft, but how high he could rise.
