U.S. Men's Basketball Team A Huge Gambling Favorite In Olympics

The U.S. Men's basketball team is comprised of most of the best players in the world. The Americans know more than anyone, however, that being the most talented and winning a gold medal are two completely different things.

This U.S. team is trying to avenge a horrendous performance by the last dream team that American sent to the Olympics. That team played horribly together and were considered major underachievers.

Once again, regardless of their last appearance, the Americans are heavy gambling favorites to win the gold. This team, unlike its predecessor, looks poised to prove that they deserve their favorite role that has them at -500 to win.

Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and Dwayne Wade are hungry to win. When you get three competitors as fierce as these three, the rest of the team can't help but follow. All three seem to be taking great pride in representing their country.

Bryant does not accept losing, and because of that he has a leadership quality that tells teammates either to raise their game, or get out of his way. Wade has a similar type presence in the court.

James looks happy just knowing that he has people around him that can pick up his slack if need be. that is something he has not had yet in his career in Cleveland.

The rest of the world should fear these guys. Not for the talent they have, but for the desire. That look in their eye that says we are coming to Beijing on a mission, and if you get in our way, prepare to be destroyed.
