UCLA #1 in College Basketball Polls Again This Week

Visit Golden Casino! The top two teams in college basketball remained the same this week with UCLA holding on to the #1 spot with 55 first place votes and 1781 total votes. Pittsburgh was #2 again receiving 15 first place votes and 1713 total votes. The two teams are 6-0, and 8-0, respectively.

North Carolina is the only other team to receive first place votes gathering two of them, they have 1619 total votes and are up to #3 in the country after a week where they defeated Ohio State on the road.

Alabama and their undefeated record moved up from #6 to #4 in the polls, and Ohio State, after suffering that loss to the Tar Heels fell to #5 in this weeks polls.

Texas A@M moved up to #6 from 9. Don't look now, but Duke is starting to creep up the standings moving up from the 11 spot, all the way to #7.

Defending National Champion Florida is finding that the road to a repeat championship might be more difficult than they imagined, even though they return all of their starters from last years team. The Gators dropped all the way to #7 from the 4 slot after suffering a huge upset loss at the hands of their in state rivals Florida State. Their record is now 7-2.

The rest of the top ten has LSU at 9 and a surprising Witchita State team coming in at #10.

The bulk of the schedule kicks in this week as most teams set to begin their conference schedules.
