Several other bouts have fighters that are more evenly matched, according to the odds. Ricardo Almeida has odds of -190 in his Welterweight fight with Matt Hughes. The underdog Hughes has odds of +155, suggesting that sports books would not be surprised if either fighter won this match.

The lightweight bout on the main card pits Rafael Dos Anjos against Clay Guida. This match has been placed as almost a pick'em by odds makers. Officially, Guida is the favorite at -120, but those believing Dos Anjos will also have to lay money with odds of -110.

UFC 117 will take place in Oakland, California on Saturday evening.
