Underdogs Once Again Rule Gambling In NFL Week Two
The NFL prides itself on being a balance4d league. For as much as the same teams seem to be at the top year after year, there is still the possibility of any team losing on any given Sunday.
Those any given Sunday's have now been the first two weeks of the season this year. On Sunday, for the second straight weeks the underdogs have made odds makers gambling lines look foolish.
The Washington Redskins were left for dead after their opening game loss to the New York Giants a week and a half ago. They were heading to face the New Orleans Saints who looked impressive in their opener. The result of Washington winning this week is the precise reason they play the games.
In Jacksonville, the Jaguars were trying to overcome a shaky start while facing the upstart Buffalo Bills. It did not turn out the way the home team would have liked after they squandered their opportunity and fell to 0-2.
A similar stunner happened in Carolina. Everyone had proclaimed the Bears back after they beat Indianapolis in the first week. They did not appear all the way back on Sunday in losing to the Panthers.
