Virginia Tech And Georgia Tech Looking For Some Respect
Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech have both been top 25 teams for the better part of the last twenty years, however this year both teams are flying under the radar of pollsters, and the winner is hoping to gain some national exposure.
The Hokies, a team that has been in the top ten for most of the past decade, has not lost this year yet they find themselves having to prove they belong at the top of the college football polls.
As for Georgia Tech, a season opening loss to Notre Dame has set the team back a bit, but the players know they are a better team than the team that lost to the Irish, they also believe they should have won that game.
On Saturday, one of these teams will have their beliefs justified, not only by getting the national spotlight, but by vaulting themselves to the top of a tough ACC division, that also includes the Miami Hurricanes.
The betting line on this game is Virginia Tech -10.5 points. Beating the Hokies in Virginia will be a tall task for Georgia Tech as the home crowd will be ready to go.
