Weekend Football Gambling Changes Due To The Weather

Typically, gamblers like to have choices. The more football games available the better on a weekend. This gives bettors the opportunity to choose from a group of games and pick the ones they feel strongest about.

This weekend, however, will be different for gamblers. They will have a few less choices than normal thanks to Hurricane Ike which is bearing down on Texas.

The Houston Texans football game Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens has already been moved to Monday night. This could serve as an advantage for gamblers if they get in trouble over the weekend.

The move to Monday night means that bettors will now have two opportunities to bail out after the weekend. In addition to the Ravens and Texans, there is also the scheduled Monday Night Football game between Dallas and Philadelphia.

Several college games have also been rescheduled. While they were not as high profile as the NFL game, they still give gamblers a few less options starting on Saturday.

The weather is also changing the plans of teams in other sports. The Chicago Cubs and Houston Astros were ready to begin a big three game series in the National League
