The Florida Gators and the Oklahoma Sooners are two of the most celebrated college football programs in history. The current coaching regime at both schools have their teams playing at a near national championship level on a yearly basis.

This year, one of the two teams will win another national title. They meet on Thursday in Miami to determine which of them will be walking away a champion.

Judging by the amount of money that is being spent on this game, it would be natural to assume that this is one of the most anticipated match ups in bowl history. eBay is just one of the outlets that people are buying the tickets from.

On eBay, tickets for the game have been going for around $600 a seat. That is for seats that are up in the upper deck. Club level seats and lower bowl seats are commanding upwards of $100 a ticket.

For the die hard Gator and Sooner fans, there are premier seats available. Online ticket brokers are selling premier seats for up to $10,000 a ticket. The amazing part of the equation is that the tickets are selling at a rapid rate.

In South Florida, we spoke to one ticket broker who claims that there were almost 700 pairs of tickets available at the start of the business day on Tuesday. By day's end, that same broker said there were under 450 ticket pairs left.

The NCAA is much like the NFL in that they claim to not approve gambling on their sport. Although no money is actually being wagered, the auctioning on eBay is reaching a fever pitch.

People are gambling minute after minute that they will be the high bidder for the precious title game tickets. With just two days left, the betting is sure to get fierce.
