Other Casinos and/or Casino Software

There are hundreds of online casinos across the web, the large majority of them either use the Microgaming or Playtech casino software. The large majority of other casino software suck. We are not going to even review them or mention them at all on this site because they should really just be avoided. However, there are a couple software companies online that produce very high quality casinos.

Cryptologic, a subsidary of WagerLogic, is a publicly traded UK company. The casinos that use this software are few, however, the ones that do use it are host to the most sophisticated gaming software on the net.

We recommend RTG software because Rushmore Casino is using it and they are currently the best US facing online casino.

The only other software we would really recommend trying out is Odds On Gaming software. English Harbour and Caribbean Gold are two casinos with great reputations that use this software. They have recently made upgrades to their slots and table games and we believe they too may someday surpass Microgaming or Playtech.

English Harbour is probably the best of all casinos that use the Odds On Gaming Software. They are better than other Odds On casinos in that they feature unique slots made just for them, and they feature the best bonus offer of all Odds On Gaming casinos.

Odds On is really not like Microgaming, Playtech, or Cryptologic. Whereas Microgaming focuses on slots, Playtech focuses on table games, and Cryptologic focuses on their live-like gaming lobbies, Odds On tries to please everyone. Their lobby is half high graphics, half inside of a casino, they feature sophisticated video slots, but not a great deal of them, they have quality table game graphics, but not the best in the biz. They are a slightly better than average casino that has a great reputation for fair play and quality service and that is good enough for us to play with them.

Caribbean Gold is the sister site of English Harbour. This means that they are basically the same exact casino with very few differences. Obviously, they both use the Odds On Gaming software. There are three difference between them. They each have their own uniquely designed lobbies as you can see from the screenshots to the right. Caribbean Gold does not feature the specialty slots that English Harbour has, and that is really why we like them a tiny bit less. Caribbean Gold also has a different bonus. Whereas at English Harbour you can get a 100% matching bonus on your first deposit up to $275, at Caribbean Gold you get that same 100% bonus, however the max amount you can get is $150.
